Himmelen
I helped design a website for a company called Himmelen. They specialize in making ceilings with added ligth- and audio solutions.
Mood board.
Pinterest is my best friend when it comes to mood boards. So I began by looking at the company’s product images and then continued to scout for web designs that I found would fit the general aesthetic and to highlight the images.
Style guide
I proceeded by creating a style guide that could work for both digital and printed material, as well as web design elements. It included chapters about typography, color pallet, imagery, and web design look and feel.
Designing for web.
Once the style guide was approved, I started to create mockups of how the web was going to look. Mobile first - of course! I then passed the designs over to my project partner who was responsible for putting the design together, using WordPress and the theme builder plugin Divi.
